Mylor Yacht Club - Fowey Buoy Race 2006

Freyja wins the Fowey Buoy Race and Rattler scoops the direct dash!

This year's race was again held during daytime. It took place under grey skies but was blessed with a good southerly breeze which allowed everyone to make a fast passage. A small Class U fleet sailed the traditional Fowey Buoy course while the larger Class Q entry sailed the direct route round Dodman to Fowey.

On arrival at the reserved pontoon, competitors were greeted by sunshine and the day was rounded off with a meal in the Fowey Gallants SC.
